How it works

Foldwink is a short-session grouping puzzle. You see 16 cards on a 4×4 grid. Your job is to find 4 hidden groups of 4 that share a category. You have 4 mistakes to spare.

Three difficulty tiers

Easy — Start here. Familiar categories, clean groupings, quick payoff.

Medium — Stronger false trails and structured ambiguity. Medium puzzles introduce Foldwink Tabs: a row of 4 hidden category previews above the grid. Each time you solve a group, the tabs reveal one more letter. Once per puzzle you can Wink a tab — tap it to fully reveal its category keyword. Save the Wink for when you're stuck.

Master Challenge (Hard) — Tabs reveal at half speed. No Wink. You solve from the grid and your own reasoning. Reduced help, cleaner pressure, stronger overlap. Tough but fair.

How to play

1. Look at the 16 cards.
2. Pick exactly 4 that share a hidden category.
3. Submit. If correct, the group locks in.
4. If wrong, you lose a mistake.
5. Four mistakes and you're out. Find all 4 groups and you win.
6. On Medium, Foldwink Tabs reveal the categories gradually. Use the Wink wisely.
7. On Hard, the tabs reveal slower and there is no Wink. Trust your reasoning.

Languages

English, German (Deutsch), Russian (Русский). Switch in the menu; the daily puzzle adapts to your language.
